College life is a freedom, and it
meant for me a new life. It’s amazing to realize how time flies when you’re living,
growing, having fun, meeting people and experiencing what are the things around
us. I was no more a young boy but man, I’ve been impatiently waiting to return in college. I’ve always thought
after more responsibility and independent in my life and college it seemed like
the perfect place to achieve just that. I thank God for this opportunities.
My first
day was full of experiences here at DNSC, it is very stressful and nerve racking, I don’t know what to do
because I enrolled at the last hour, but still I ended up having quite and
pleasurable day. When I was young I didn’t have to worry about waking up early,
but college start off really early. Hectic was probably the best way to
describe the beginning of the day, it wasn’t bad enough that I had to be up an
hours early for my preparation for my morning and afternoon classes. I
really want to go to school at the very first day of classes, and I told to myself
it would be better.
I arrived
at the campus at about 8 o’clock, I entered the gate through the parking lot, I
had been at the campus quite a lot before. I always remember the completely
uncomfortable feeling of walking in a new environment, and having no idea of
what general direction any of my classes where in, I didn’t see anyone that I could
ask for help, I looked around with a mix feeling of perplexity and joy.
The first
item on my routine was a short lecture on FIL 1, I joined my class in the room
1, it was “KOMUNIKASYON SA AKADEMIKONG FILIPINO”, the instructor came with the
attendance register, I also introduce myself , after finishing the roll-call
she asked some questions and delivered short lecture. what I impressed the most was that
fluency with which she spoke. Although I felt stressful during my first day
here but now for me it was the most exciting day of my life, why? Because I met
my new classmates, new friends, my handsome and beautiful instructors in different subjects,
next, it was the first day that I started studying something that I really like, it is BSIT, and the last
one it was a new experience in which success depend on me.
